A bit of Christmas Humour
Christmas on 34th Street is underway and while looking through items to blog last night I think it was I had the amazing owner of DRD drop their items for the event on me to blog. As soon as I unpacked it and saw the vendor picture I knew I had to blog it! This spoke to my Australian sense of humour so well and it’s what I would imagine Australian christmas decorations to be if we had snow!
The Set is called the #notgivingaf christmas collection and it’s freakin awesome but not for the easily offended! The set comes with rather comical Reindeer decorations and the normal standing Reindeer is the 10L gift. The snowman is one of my favourites and is seriously what any “Bogan” Aussie would have in their front yard leading up to christmas and absolutely cracked me up! The other item I loved which sums up my rl christmas decorating skills perfectly is the tangled christmas lights with the fuck it sign in the middle. Actually this set pretty much sums up my rl attitude towards christmas perfectly! There’s a couple more items to the set which I’ll show in my next post as I wanted to showcase these outdoor items first.
The Reindeer on the spit roast is another thing that spoke to the Aussie in me, being summer here for christmas spit roasts are a popular item for Christmas lunch and I’d say we’d roast Reindeers if we had them 😛 I mean we eat kangaroo after all hahaha
I added a few other items from Christmas on 34th Street to my scene today the first being the A Frame Cabin by Kalopsia. I thought the cabin was a cute addition to the scene and although it’s rather small, it’s perfect for a little retreat in a private setting! Kalopsia also has a few other items that I plan to use in another post so keep your eye out for it!
The next items I used from Christmas on 34th Street are these awesome Alaskan pine trees by The Little Branch. These trees come in a cluster of 6 and a single tree and the have a season change script in them so you can use them at any time of year! The christmas tree I’m using is from TLB as well and is amazingly detailed!
The snow ground I’m using today is made by a friend and is currently not for sale.
That’s all from me for now, this was a quick post so hopefully I’ll have another up soon! I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do!!
